While in New Zealand we spoke to the guide staff about what they wanted in a rifle. Together we came up with the "Alpine" named after Shane Quinn's "Alpine Hunting New Zealand". To say the least it was a hit. What we came up with was a suppressed and non suppressed version. We feel that the smaller calibers work great with shorter barrels and silencers but the magnums work better with a longer barrels and muzzle brake. Either way its a super light package at just under 7.0 lbs that is shaped like a varmint rifle with a slight palm swell and larger forend to accommodate a larger Proof Research barrel.
