This prototype was built along with a few others and used for two years in the field to make sure we really liked the in's and out's of the package. The official rifle will bear the APA Genesis hunting action. It's meant to be a bar none working field rifle and extend the range of the "standard" hunting rifle. Today's hunter often requires more than what his daddy's 30-06 was capable of and here is our answer. The name speaks for itself. If you plan on hunting from a tree stand most of the time this rifle probably is the wrong choice. She enjoys the open air and geographically this is a top seller out west and in south Texas. If you are looking for something that's more of a standard hunting rifle you might check out the Critter Get'r.
